If you are new to massage you probably have some questions. These are some of the common ones asked.
If you need more information send us a text message identifying yourself and I'll answer as soon as i can.

Will I experience soreness after my massage?
That all depends on the type of massage you receive, the more pressure you receive the more you can work out the knots and tightness but also the more sore you will be for a couple of days. Sore but not in pain

Do you take health insurance?
I do accept FSA and some HSA health and flex spending credit cards because of my medical massage certification. I do not accept health insurance, letters of protection (LOC), or any third party billing.

What is the process of getting a massage?
In my place of service you are greeted by our receptionist (between 9am and 5pm) she will notify me of your arrival. For your first visit you will have a 1 page form to fill out. I will collect you from our lobby and take you to my treatment room. In the treatment room every time you come in I will ask what your goals are for the session, whether it be for relaxation, a tune-up, or any issue that needs work. You will tell me what specific relief you are looking for, or overall preventive bodywork.
Then I will leave the room and allow you to undress and place your clothes on either a chair or clothes hanger, you will lie under the covers with your face inside the half moon face cradle and cover yourself up with the sheet or blanket. I will allow a couple of minutes before I knock on the door before entering.
For Prenatal massage the session will be done side-lying propped with pillows, for lymphatic drainage depending on your specific issues it will also be done side-lying or on your back propped by pillows.
it is necessary for you to remove all your upper clothing for a back and neck massage, most people remove everything, this is all to your level of comfort, whatever you leave clothes on will not be massaged. Your privacy will always be protected, you will be professionally draped at all times.
During the massage I will ask you about the amount of pressure, and if you have a discomfort to describe its location. When the massage session is complete I will leave the room and allow you to dress and ask you to open the door when finished getting dressed.

How do you do Prenatal Massage?
Prenatal Massage is performed while you lay on your side, same as when you sleep, propped with pillows.
If you have any diagnoses for a prenatal condition like preeclampsia or gestational diabetes, it is required to get cleared by your doctor.

Do you give discounts?
We give a $10 additional discount to city, state and federal law enforcement officers when they present their badge at the time of service. Everyone gets a discount for paying in cash $10 off for an hour and $15 off for hour and half. I do not do packages, monthly servcie contracts or multiple family member discounts.

Do I have to take off all of my clothes?
Ideally you should take it all off although you don't have to, the therapist will work around your clothing, just know the more you leave on the less the therapist can effectively help you, so if you come in wearing bike shorts don't expect a great leg massage. You will be masterfully draped at all times, including during stretches. And if anything feels uncomfortable just say so. If you are wearing a wig, please take it off, it might get dirty.
Both wigs and dreads get in the way of a great neck massage, so please if possible remove anything that will keep your head from laying flat or a hairstyle that doesn't allow neck access; also anything more than a stud earring gets in the way of a great massage.

What types other services do you offer?
I only offer one type of service, MASSAGE THERAPY, I don't up sell a five cent aromatherapy oil drop for $20, I don't do hot stone massages because the stones are porous so unless they are boiled and disinfected they are not clean, I don't do couples massage, because honestly it's kinda weird and there is only one of me.
I do massage therapy with therapeutic stretching and lymphatic drainage as the client needs it.
